Wearing Sturt Football Guernseys, the team known as the ‘Unley Collective’, led by City of Unley Economic Development Project Officer Laura Zimbardi, undertook seven of ficial tasks and was judged on its performance in areas such as team policies, procedures and repor t writing. Laura says she was really proud of the team, which performed ex traordinarily well under pressure. “ T he highlight was definitely our introduction. Given the day was held at AAMI Stadium, we thought we would represent our local and beloved footy club Sturt and keep with a football theme throughout the introduction,” says Laura. The Management Challenge has existed for more than 20 years and the City of Unley has had a proud involvement over that time. Par ticipation benefits and improves organisational culture, teamwork and relationships. “It was a wonderful way for Council staff from all areas of Council from around South Australia to come together, form teams and develop our leadership skills,” Laura says.
