Celebrate Australia Day at Council’s free street party on Oxford Terrace. Bring your family and neighbours and join us for a free sausage sizzle, children’s entertainment, face painting, live music and refreshments. You definitely can’t miss the highlight of the Fringe in Unley - Unley’s first Meraki Health & Wellbeing Festival in February. Learn, practice and immerse yourself in a festival of wellbeing for the heart, mind and body. Find balance, feed your belly, dance like nobody's watching and learn how to live your life with Meraki. From free fitness classes to wellbeing workshops, puppy play sessions to yoga for wine lovers and acoustic music mashups, come and experience the best in health and wellbeing that the City of Unley has to offer. In February, Unley also welcomes t wo very exciting new events. First is the At First Light morning dance party. More than just a dance party, the event concept is based on the idea of “partying with purpose” that star ts with stretching and meditation then rapidly moves into a full-on dance party. And second is the Two Sisters Street Party Extravaganza, a free community celebration being held in Gilber t Street, Goodwood, by Goodwood Road’s Two Sisters Food & Wine with support from Unley Council. “It will be Goodwood Road in a nutshell,” says restaurant owner Nicole Sheehan, promoting local food and SA wine. Carols at the Rotunda on Sunday, 18 December, is an absolute must. Bring your families, food, drink and a picnic rug to the Unley Soldiers Memorial Garden and sing in the Christmas season with the Unley Concer t Band - and Santa, of course. See you there!
